Participants will have an opportunity to reconnect with their inner ch ild\, create connections between places and spaces and identify those Gem Moments.\nPlay and Self-Identity: This interactive presentation makes us r econnect with\nour inner child and recognize how our identity and place in this world is so\nclosely connected to our early childhood play and inter ests. Through a\ncollection of photos and stories of the "gifts" that each child brings participants\nwill see how every person in the world belongs like the multicolored pieces of a\npuzzle that fit together perfectly int o a masterpiece.\nPlace-Making: Creating places where amazing experiences happen: Action\nfollows thought\; Place-Making makes connections between p laces and spaces\nthat we know and appreciate\, and helps us remember what principles to follow\nand to guide our actions in establishing and mainta ining early childhood\nenvironments.\nGEM Moments: Gem moments occur when we stop the clock\, take the time\,\nand grasp the opportunities of the pr esent moment to create memories that last a lifetime.
