This session will explore the skills and strategies for inclusive and equitable recruitment and selection.

We will review all aspects of the process – from attracting a diverse group of applicants, to connecting with, interviewing and hiring. By exploring and discussing all steps along the hiring process, participants will be provided with both research and a collection of evidence-based practices that support inclusive recruitment policies and actions that encourage diversity and inclusion.

The overall goal is to develop an understanding, appreciation and application of the best practices for providing equal access of opportunities to those who are traditionally marginalized or excluded from the hiring process.
